Real Relaxed was born in a dorm room in Chicago in 2022, created by three friends with a shared vision. What began as late-night brainstorming sessions and passionate conversations quickly evolved into a mission to create more than just clothing. Each founder brought unique experiences and perspectives, united by a collective desire to foster a movement centered around intentional living and prioritizing mental health. Real Relaxed represents their belief that relaxation and adventure can coexist—and their commitment to inspiring a better, more balanced way of life.

The inspiration behind Real Relaxed is rooted in the unique journeys of its founders. One founder’s childhood in Dubai played a pivotal role in shaping the brand’s vision. Growing up in a city known for its breathtaking architecture, dynamic culture, and blend of modern luxury with rich traditions, they were constantly surrounded by contrasts—serene desert landscapes meeting a bustling, adventurous city. This experience inspired the idea of creating a brand that embraces the balance between relaxation and exploration, encouraging others to live intentionally while seeking out new adventures.

For the other two founders, their backgrounds in sports brought a different yet complementary perspective. Through years of dedication and discipline, they learned the importance of mental strength, resilience, and the ability to find calm under pressure—qualities essential both on and off the field. Their passion for sports instilled a drive to build something meaningful, combining the spirit of adventure with the need to slow down and recharge.
